How Does CareFairy Work?

Compassion. Consistency. Communication.
We base our service on these three principles. Kind team members who genuinely care, reliable service you can count on, and clear, three-way communication between you, your CareFairy, and our Home Experience Coordinator.
When you call a CareFairy for help, we’ll walk you through the following investigative, planning and service process:
1. In-Home Assessment

We start with a free, no-obligation, in-home assessment. This is an exploratory exercise that enables us to get a good handle on what your specific needs are, what is most important to you, and what would make the biggest difference in your quality of life.

2. Quote

We provide a written quote – which we guarantee – based on the information shared during the assessment.

3. Profile Match

If you approve our quote, we’ll match your requirements with one of our talented team members. A good fit is important; we monitor this over future visits, and can provide an alternative if necessary.

4. Scheduling

You’ll receive a call from Ali… she’s our Home Experience Coordinator. She will discuss your preferred service day and set that up on the schedule for you. If you are wanting regular service, she’ll arrange that based on the frequency you request.

5. CareFairy Day!

Your CareFairy will arrive on the scheduled day, ready to help wherever you need them around your home!

6. Profile & Journal Review

Prior to commencing work, your Carefairy will check your profile to ensure they are familiar with your requirements and any special requests you might have. If it’s a recurring visit, they will also check the previous visit’s Journal so they know where best to apply their efforts this time.

7. Work in Home

Your CareFairy will get to work; they are at your disposal for the duration of the time you booked them for, and can handle any general household chore… even last-minute changes.

8. Report: Visit Journal/Checklist

At the end of the visit, your CareFairy will complete a Journal entry detailing the work and care provided over the course of this visit. If we’re managing your cleaning supplies and consumables for you, they will also send a digital checklist of any items that are low and require purchasing.

9. Follow-up

Ali will follow up with a phone call the day after our initial service. We want to ensure you feel your CareFairy was a good fit and you are comfortable with them in your home; and that the service delivered met or exceeded your expectations.

10. Profile Update

Any adjustments or requests regarding the scope or nature of our service in your home are updated on your profile for easy reference by our team, ensuring we deliver specifically what you require, and nothing that you don’t.

11. Repeat

Should you require us on a regular schedule, we will cycle through steps 5 to 8: Visit – Review – Work – Report, with profile updates occurring if and when they are necessary. This ensures consistent, clear communication and service delivery in line with your expectations.

Should you desire regular visits, you can rest assured your dedicated CareFairy will attend your home on the specific day you choose, around the same time each visit.
